Green with Envy

Today is the day the entire world is green. Not green as in eco-friendly, but green as in Irish. Happy St. Patrick's Day! I'm not Irish, but on this day (March 17th) once a year I'll gladly drop my nationalism for a strong dose of leprechauns, green beer, and red-headed lasses.

Left- Pale Horse Ale, Right- Green with Envy (Special St. Patty's Day edition of Pale Horse Ale).

There was a Young Lady whose eyes,
Were unique as to colour and size;
When she opened them wide,
People all turned aside,
And started away in surprise.

New in the Vat

Today marked MNG's undertaking of its second batch of brew. This time we're going dark and fruity (sorta like Denis Rodman). In early May Bock Hard will be let loose in limited quantities. Obviously it's a bock, but this ain't no ordinary bock. No, this bock will rock your socks off with its sweet finish and deep color.

I've been scorned and slandered and ridiculed too.
Had to struggle everyday my whole life through.
Seen my share of the worst that this world can give.
But I still got a dream and a burning rage to live.

Walk hard, Hard.
When they say you're all done.
Walk bold, Hard.
Though they say you're not the one.

Introducing MNG Brewing

I am proud to introduce the world to MNG Brewing. Established in January of 2010 in a basement in Central Pennsylvania, this small brewing company makes beer batches one 8-litre keg at a time. Pale Horse Ale is MNG's first beer released at the end of February. It is a run-of-the-mill pale ale, nothing flashy, but still tasty. Due to some fermenting issues during production there were only 6 liters fit for consumption. The brewmaster has determined the source of the problem (temperature/patience/time) and will be mindful of that in the future.

I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.
